What's new at Anodyne Coffeehouse?

Check out the Events section for details on our May Folk Showcase on Friday nights - we are excited to host so many local artists during the month.

Studio Bricolage (aka Leonardo's Basement for adults) - hosts a spring adult event titled "Building Words" on June 6 @ 7pm that will rock the block.  The street (43rd Street) will be closed to cars to allow for the festivities.  And of course, that being the first Friday of the month, Anodyne's Open Mic is the same night @ 8pm.  Come and join the fun.

Tuesday evenings always have live Jazz @ Anodyne.  Come and grab an ice cream cone and sit and listen for a bit.

First Fridays is Open Mic Night.  If you'd like to perform, sign up between 7:30 and 8:00pm.  The show usually runs from 8-10pm.

Always wanted an Anodyne tee shirt?  Help us by thinking up a new design.  We will have entries available @ Anodyne through May 5th.  The winning entry will receive a free...tee shirt.

Our featured drink this month is a  Turbo Toddy, which is blended with creamy vanilla ice cream and cold press coffee.

The Third Annual Silent Auction and party on Saturday, March 22, 2008 was a great success.  Over 425 people attended the party at the new Rau&Bauer building across Nicollet Avenue from Anodyne, and many of them were able to purchase original art from local artists.  The proceeds will fund art projects in Kingfield and Lyndale neighborhoods this summer.
